It was a beautifully appointed hotel with fairly quiet and cozy rooms. Location next to local restaurants and the surrounding areas and Slieve Bloom mountains and Ireland. Also, in a beautiful setting.

Arriving at the guesthouse, we were warmly welcomed by the host at the door. The house itself was spectacular, with a rich history spanning over 270 years. Our room was absolutely fantastic, complete with a large four-poster bed and a hidden bathroom behind a panel in the wall. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the wifi signal was strong throughout our stay. The shower was a highlight, offering a truly amazing experience. the breakfast provided a delicious start to the day, with a variety of options to choose from. The communal dining area was a pleasant surprise, promoting conversation among guests and creating a friendly atmosphere. it was a great experience and I would definitely stay again.
While the guesthouse was filled with numerous positives, there were no discernible negatives that I could find. Everything about our stay was enjoyable, and I couldn't find a single aspect to dislike.

The value we got for our money was excellent - the room was comfortable and the location was perfect for our needs. The staff at Summergrove House treated us like family and were pretty good too make our stay nice.
The only thing that could have made breakfast even better was a wider variety of food options for those with dietary restrictions.

We had an incredible stay at Summergrove House. From the moment we arrived, James made us feel like privileged guests in a Jane Austen novel. the house is a stunning labour of love, with beautifully restored Georgian details in every room. We particularly enjoyed the tour of the home and the impromptu wine and cheese evening in the living room. James was a fantastic host, regaling us with stories about the house. the guest rooms were unique and our luxurious clawfoot tub was a fun experience. the country setting and historic charm made it a perfect choice for us. Highly recommended!
None. Perfect stay! 😊.
